Lacy LaFour

Lacy LaFour is the managing lawyer at LaFour Law, bringing over 20 years of experience exclusively in family law. Lacy has successfully represented clients in the full spectrum of property and child-related matters.

While Lacy represents a broad range of clients and legal issues, her skills are best utilized when representing clients with complex legal issues, particularly issues unique to the high-net-worth estate. High-asset estates often include complex asset structures that must be evaluated and disentangled during a divorce. Lacy has extensive experience in handling the complex legal issues that arise in high-asset divorces, and the skillset to effectively manage and protect those unique estate structures.

In addition to her work with clients in and around the Houston area, Lacy has had the privilege of expanding her work to include family law consulting and case management for professional athletes and other high-profile clients across the country.

Lacy understands that many clients want to safeguard their financial and business model confidentiality as well as avoid protracted, public, and costly litigation. When a client’s goal includes a non-public forum resolution, she is uniquely skilled at generating innovative solutions to meet her client’s needs.

Lacy also has a depth of experience in assisting clients with ethical asset protection in the form of both premarital and postmarital agreements.
Lacy prides herself on providing each client and case with personal attention, early and ongoing case analysis, solid and realistic legal advice, a proactive and tailored plan, and staunch advocacy.

Lacy is also a certified mediator, and she is trained in the Collaborative Divorce Process.
