Book Mediation

Having attended hundreds of mediations alongside her own family law clients for more than two decades, Lacy has the insights and legal expertise needed to guide parties to find personalized solutions that foster harmony within a family.

Litigation is sometimes unavoidable, but most families undergoing legal transitions can resolve their disputes through the mediation process. Statistics show that even in high-conflict cases, engaging with a qualified mediator offers a significant chance for resolution.

What is mediation?

Mediation is a private, confidential process conducted outside of a courtroom where a neutral mediator guides negotiations between parties with the goal of reaching shared solutions. This approach enables parties to create personalized, private solutions for their family versus turning over their private decisions to a judge in a public courtroom. When children are involved, rather than having a custody battle, mediation is a place where parents focus on crafting shared agreements for their future parenting, a process that can significantly improve their future co-parenting relationship.
